Eghtesad Novin industrial Groupwas founded as the outcome of a partnership between Eghtesad Novin Currency and Exchange Services Ltd, Salam Mehr, and
Eghtesad Novin Investment Ltd on 1385/07/10 with the base share capital of 100 million
Rials. This capital was increased to 40 billion at one point, and on 1387/02/10 the
general assembly of shareholders authorized the board of directors to increase the
capital to 100 billion Rials.

| Major Completed Activities: |
- Agricultural Activities:
- Considering the drought as well as country's needs to import strategic agricultural
products, whilst cooperating with one of the most reputable entrepreneurs,
company has made investments in importing grains from abroad.
- As part of implementing the importation of tractors and combines programme,
final negotiation with CHN which is one of the most well-known manufacturers of
agricultural machineries, with the brand name CASE, and is affiliated with Fiat
Group, are taking place. A few tractors with different engine powers have been
imported from England and Turkey and displayed in Agricultural Machinery
Exhibition in Shiraz and received a great deal of interest. Preliminary steps have
been taken to import a few heavy and semi heavy tractors and these will be
distributed via branches of Agricultural Bank to the farmers eligible for state
subsidies.
- Regarding the manufacturing and assembly of electronic banking tools and
facilities project, negotiations have taken place with Hypercom and Ingenico which both are leading manufacturers in the field and have already announced their readiness to provide their services and products.
- Furthermore in cooperation with a Japanese company named Kubota a number of
specialised tractors for paddy fields will be imported to country.
